This website is run by Big Bear Catering Limited, a limited company trading as The Burger Society (company number 12593748, registered office: Holmwood, Forest Road, Wokingham, RG40 5SA). If you have any questions about your details, email us at enquiries@theburgersociety.co.uk.
When you join our email list: your email address. We use it to send you news about special events, special offers and secret menu items. We only email you if you have ticked the box to say yes, and you confirm by clicking a link in an email we send you. We ask to see your confirmation email at the truck or Blue Collar before giving you a stamp card, but we do not keep a record of it.
When you send an event enquiry: your name, email address, phone number and the details you give us about your event. We use them to reply to you and to plan and quote for your event.
For marketing emails, we rely on your consent. You can take it back at any time. For event enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you, or on steps needed to agree a booking with you.
Only us, and the services we use to run things: our email service, Brevo (see Brevo’s privacy policy), and our enquiry and booking system. They only handle your details on our behalf. We never sell your details.
Email list members: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details. Event enquiries: 12 months after we last contact you, then we delete them.
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. You can also object to us using them, or withdraw your consent at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. To use any of your rights, email us at the address above.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the Find us page shows a Google Map, so Google may receive your internet address when those load. The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up.
